My truck is: A 2001 Ford F-650 SuperCrewzer,
purchased new from TPE,
N. Las Vegas
,
NV
. It is one of 500 total.
In 2002 an additional 125 were built and only 75 in 2003.
The F-650 is still in production, but no more SuperCrewzers.
It has a 300 HP, 860 ft. lb. CAT 3126B, an Allison MD3060 and
Air Suspension.
We have added: an under-bumper light bar and a
dash mounted engine monitor that helps us maintain the most economical
speed. (We purchased the
monitor from Camping World and let them install it.) We have a
personalized plate “MOBY” (the Great White Whale); Southwest style
graphics to match the trailer in 2004; and two “gear boxes” from
Wal-Mart (in the front of the bed.)
We pull a: Damon Challenger 31RL 5th
wheel, purchased new in 1999. Loaded,
it weighs 12,000 lbs. Behind
the trailer is our Toad, a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport (“MOBY JR.”),
weighing in at 4,200 lbs.
