Our truck, Red Rover, is a 2000 Volvo 770 – it stands 13’3”
high, and is 27’ long. It has a Detroit Series 60 475 hp/ 1550
torque, and weighs in at about 20,300 lbs with a full load of fuel. We have an
Eaton autoshift transmission, and can carry 300 gallons of fuel. The tractor
was converted to single axle by moving the rear axle forward and building
a new drive train to match. The wheelbase is 203”. We have an
Advanced Air Hitch (now Air Ride Hitch) – primarily because of the low profile
and multi-axis dampened motion. We kept the sleeper intact and added a porta-potty,
refrigerator and microwave. We added a 2000 watt inverter and external
shore power to power the refrigerator, micro and other 120-volt appliances.
We also have a backup camera that allows us to see that nice blind spot
behind the sleeper. The bed was custom built. More information on

Our trailer, Tige, is a 2006 Travel Supreme, Supreme model 40RLQSO – 40’ long, quad slide, and weighs up to 22,00 lbs, with
full tanks. The trailer is powered by 4-100 watt solar panels, a 3000 watt
inverter, and a 7500 watt Onan gasoline generator. It is leveled with a Bigfoot
leveling
system.
